It started in the 1970’s with Steve King’s passion for all things with a motor.  Constantly looking for ways to make a vehicle run faster or last longer, it became obvious there was a need for knowledge and expertise in the field of transmission repair. Over the years, Steve learned to rebuild all makes and models of transmissions and carried that passion forward to form the company in 1995.  From our inception, Pro Transmission has been driven to provide customers with quality transmission repair and service second to none.

In January 2016, we relocated to our largest shop yet in Florence KY on Burlington Pike near Boone County High School.  We currently have 7 service bays available to speed the turnaround time for your transmission repair.
